When would I use a callback URL?

Last Updated May 31st, 2018

A callback URL is typically used in transactions that have asynchronous processing (such as claims) in order to be notified when the activity state changes. You have the option to define what callback URL can be used in your application dashboard here: https://platform.pokitdok.com/dashboard#/settings/detail, as an added security measure. That added security measure validates that the callback URL provided in the request is the same as the callback URL information in the application details. You’ll want to leave Redirect URI set to bypass as it is defaulted.
