Why am I getting unable_to_respond_now on a X12 transaction response?

A response of unable_to_respond_now indicates the trading partner system is unable to provide a response due to scheduled or unscheduled system downtime. When PokitDok is notified of trading partner downtime, we post this information on our status page. Please try the request again later or call the phone number on the back of the member’s card for eligibility and benefit information.
