What is the difference between the Activities and Claims Status endpoints?

The Activities endpoint can be used to check the status of an existing PokitDok activity for any one of the X12 endpoints. This monitors only internal activity as transactions progress through the various stages of our system. In contrast, the Claims Status endpoint reports on the external (trading partner system) status of a claim that has been submitted to a trading partner's adjudication system (pending, finalized, etc.).
